Private Label Specialty Committee (PLSC)

Private Label Specialty Committee of Shanghai Licensing Association (PLSC) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2013 to support the development of the private label industry both in China and in the Asia Pacific Region.

Approved by the Shanghai Municipal Government, it is the only organization of its kind, representing companies in China.

PLSC is comprised of member companies which range from large retails companies to private label manufacturers, industry service providers and other companies who are suppliers to or customers of the private label industry.

Committed to increase the market share of private label products in China and in the Asia-Pacific region and to provide better goods and services to consumers.

2010

Cooperation agreement with Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) which has been operating globally for 30 years, to set up in China the 1th Trade Show for the Private Label Industry, to promote the Private Label Industry and share knowledge.

2019

PLF celebrates its "10th anniversary “by doubling once again its numbers: 1,300 exhibitors, 2,500 booths and 60,000 square meters of exhibition space, with an expected 30,000 professional visitors. In the same year, witnessing a growing demand for fresh food and ingredients (especially imported) we launched the Fresh Food, Food in Modern Retail Trade Show (Short in FMR).

2018

For the first time PLF start to expand the area dedicated to food and ingredients to respond to consumer upgrade and cover entirely every aspect of the procurement needs of big retails chains.

Our exhibition area grew to 30,000 square meters, attracting 750 enterprises and more than 20,000 professional visitors– a clear indication of the current momentum in the Private Label Industry.
